William has experience across the whole spectrum of business, from inputting into strategies of large corporates to delivering a marketing brand for small start ups. William has founded 4 companies and firmly established them with significant market share. William has also dealt with numerous investors and successfully sold one company for a significant sum.

William is passionate about helping business and feels he can offer most value around these areas:

Systems
William has found that one of the best ways to increase the performance of a company is with effective systems. These include managing the workforce through automated internet systems that deliver KPI in realtime, allowing the management to focus on analysis and efficiency. Integrating and optimising the entire business process from customer acquisition to fulfilment to after sales support.

Marketing
William has successfully evolved several innovative marketing techniques around SEO, PR and several other subtle branding tools. In the increasingly competitive world where barriers to entry are dropping, marketing is increasingly becoming a key area for most businesses. Lose this battle and potentially it doesn't matter how good you are in other areas...

Strategy
William has overseen the strategic development of several businesses (from literal 'idea in a pub' to award winning growing companies with significant market share and profit margins).

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to extensive travel and other commitments, all consultancy is done via phone. Typically clients prefer to engage William in a general role to give feedback on possible strategic and tactical solutions to problems. William can then identify areas of concern and/or offer ideas for innovation or improvement. All conversations will be recorded and the client will receive a copy of the recording along with a transcript of the main points.

Non Executive Director, £2000 to £5000 a month

William is available as a non executive director. This will typically suit start up companies that need sharp concise input into a business which has a management team that is lacking in skills in either systems or marketing.

William can also be a sounding board for general strategic feedback. All too often companies make strategic or tactical errors that can cost a significant amount of money and/or lost opportunity. Williams brief can be to identify these if they are already in place or to spot them before they occur.

William is interested in investment opportunities.

Typically these need to fit this profile:
-B2C (business to consumer)
-Niche (there is a clearly defined target market)
-Need (there is a clearly defined need)
-Experience (the founder must have mastery of the skills needed in the proposed company/idea, however they do NOT need to have a track record of success in business generally).
-Commitment (the founder must be able to prove that they are committed to 'the cause')

William tends to only invest in very early stage companies/concepts (e.g. idea or feasibility testing).
